It is always a good idea to start with your Rabbi or officiant and ask what type of text he or she requires for your ceremony. Click on different artists and find styles that are suited to the both of you. Then you need to read the texts offered for your choices and choose the one that reflects the two of you. It's that simple! You can find text choices here
Within a Ketubah text, there are spaces for the names, date and the place of the wedding in both Hebrew and English, that are left blank.
Most artists offer calligraphy fill-ins for an additional charge. Lithographs are hand calligraphied by the artist or a calligrapher. Giclee prints fill-ins are done at the time of printing. If you are planning to have your Rabbi or the Cantor fill-in your Ketubah, make sure that they are willing.
It is very important that this from is filled out accurately and legibly with the correct spelling of the names. Your Rabbi or cantor usually can help you with this part. We can also help you with Hebrew date and transliteration of names to Hebrew.
Most Ketubah designs are also offered without any texts for those couples who would like to use their own wording or custom text. Depending on the artist, the rates for custom texts are from $150 to $1000 (does not include the price of Artwork). If your text includes Hebrew, please have someone type it out for you. Your English text can be translated to Hebrew for a fee.
